Site Surveying Services 2025 Roundup

Accurate Surveying Services Nationwide

2025 has been a defining year for Site Surveying Services, marked by continued growth, technical excellence, and trust from clients across the UK. Over the past 12 months, our team has successfully delivered more than 2,400 surveying projects, supporting developments that range from local community schemes to nationally significant infrastructure and industrial sites. Operating across Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cumbria, the North West, and nationwide, we continue to provide accurate, reliable surveying data that enables confident design, construction, and asset management decisions.

Our success in 2025 reflects not only the volume of work completed, but the breadth of surveying services delivered entirely in-house. With a single, multi-disciplinary team, we have supported clients at every project stage, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and precision from initial site investigation through to construction and completion.

Delivering Specialist Surveying Services Across the UK

Topographical surveying remained a core part of our workload throughout 2025, with over 910 topographical surveys completed across residential, commercial, infrastructure, and public sector sites. These surveys provided essential terrain, level, and feature data for developments across Preston, Blackburn, Accrington, Colne, Barrow-in-Furness, the Lake District, and wider UK locations, supporting planning applications, design coordination, and construction feasibility.

Alongside this, our site engineering and setting out services played a crucial role on active construction sites. During 2025, we delivered more than 600 site engineering and setting out projects, working closely with contractors to ensure structures were positioned accurately and built in accordance with design specifications. This included support for commercial buildings, housing developments, education facilities, and regeneration schemes, often in complex or constrained environments.

Utility detection and mapping continued to be a key service area, particularly as clients prioritised safety and risk reduction on busy sites. Our team completed over 480 utility mapping surveys, including PAS 128 compliant surveys, helping identify buried services and minimise the risk of costly delays or service strikes. This work supported major industrial facilities, brownfield developments, and urban regeneration projects across the North West and beyond, including complex sites such as BAE Systems facilities in Barrow-in-Furness.

In 2025, demand for laser scanning and measured building surveys increased significantly, with more than 275 projects delivered using high-definition 3D laser scanning technology. These surveys proved particularly valuable on refurbishment, heritage, and education projects, where accuracy and minimal disruption were essential. Notable projects included laser scanning surveys in the Lake District, where detailed point cloud data supported sensitive design and redevelopment works.

Our environmental and water-based expertise was also demonstrated through 110 hydrographic and river surveys carried out during the year. These surveys supported flood risk assessments, river restoration schemes, and infrastructure projects, providing accurate data for environmental management and public safety initiatives.

In addition, our UAV and aerial surveying services continued to support clients needing rapid, high-level data capture. Throughout 2025, we delivered 50 UAV surveys, supplying orthomosaic imagery, topographical data, and volumetric analysis for large or difficult-to-access sites across construction, infrastructure, and environmental projects.

From Local Schemes to Nationally Significant Sites

In 2025, Site Surveying Services worked on projects ranging from local community developments to nationally important facilities. Our surveys supported:

Urban regeneration schemes in Darwen, Colne, Accrington, and Eccles.

Education environments such as High Furlong School and university facilities.

Sports and leisure facilities built to Premier League standards.

Our surveyors collaborated closely with fire service staff, adapting around emergency drills, shifts and vehicle movements to ensure safe, uninterrupted station operations.
