Site Surveying Services have recently had the pleasure of hosting Stuart Hide from Runshaw College. Stuart is the course leader of the new T Level qualification in Design Surveying and Planning for Construction.
Stuarts aim was to improve his knowledge of robotic total station, LiDAR scanning using Leica and Trimble equipment and drone surveying. He joined us for a full week and used a variety of equipment to assist with surveys on roads, rivers, a farm house, a hotel and the Clitheroe FC pitch.
It was an absolute delight to have Stuart join us for the week. We hope to improve our ties with Runshaw College and look forward to seeing their T Level student next year.

T Levels are a fresh and exciting alternative to A Levels as they offer a work focussed experience which combines academic study of the highest quality with placements that are typically completed across 45 days and have been built into the course to further develop individual skills.
At Site Surveying Services we have a strong belief in offering student opportunity and development within the surveying industry. It is great to see new educational pathways for students to study and attain practical knowledge via placements as part of their course. We look forward to welcoming the Runshaw College students in the near future.
