We’re been working on a very local project this week over in Blackburn. Scanning the historic and grade II listed Exchange building. Once our site work is complete on the former cinema, we will begin work converting this data into a detailed BIM Model.
Out in the middle of Leeds City Centre line and levelling steel. Some great work on site from Dan Bagnall as always. No such thing as bad weather….
What a fantastic building this has been to survey. With site work set to conclude in the next few days, our work shortly begins building a Revit model that can compliment how much detail there really is around the place… Here’s a great photo overlooking the auditorium and stage below.
It’s not easy trying to stay on your feet in this weather. If I encounter the abominable snowman out here, he’s definitely going to have me and my trusty TS16!

Today’s work has seen us on a variety of different projects – Monitoring in Lytham St Annes, Cover Meter Surveys in Pilling, Scanning in Leigh & Tyldesley and Utility Mapping over in Swinton. Another busy week ticked off as the Christmas period gets well and truly underway!
Not every site is clean and tidy, it’s more often than you think that we literally get stuck in the mud! Here we are carrying out a topographical survey that requires the installation of ‘tell tales.’ This will help monitor cracks in the flood defences and identify areas needing repair much quicker.
